How does online text encryption work?

Easy Encrypt performs the encryption and decryption process locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your message and encryption key do not need to be submitted to the Easy Encrypt server.

How do I decrypt encrypted text?

Paste the encrypted message into the Encrypted Text box, enter the same encryption key that was used to create it and select Decrypt Text.

Does Easy Encrypt store my messages?

No. The current Easy Encrypt text tool processes your message and key locally in your browser and does not store either on our server.
